Job Overview



We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive

Inventory Control Clerk

to join our team. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring efficient material flow throughout the organization. While the primary focus of this role is inventory control, it also carries important

purchasing responsibilities

, including ordering materials and supplies needed for both production and office operations.

The Inventory Control Clerk reports directly to the VP of Finance and VP of Operations and works closely with suppliers, warehouse staff, and production teams to support smooth and cost-effective operations.

As the PFG

Inventory Control Clerk

, you will be responsible for:

Manage the current inventory by conducting

regular physical inventory counts

.

Maintain accurate inventory records

and adjust stock balances according to usage and audit findings.

Utilize the ERP system

to track inventory movements, monitor stock levels, and update records in real time.

Analyze sales data and inventory trends

to support management decisions and ensure optimal stock levels.

Manage delivery schedules

for trucks and containers to support smooth inbound and outbound operations.

Coordinate with suppliers, warehouse, and production teams

to ensure efficient material flow and minimize downtime.
Purchasing Responsibilities

Purchase materials and supplies for both production and office needs. Secure quality materials and components, ensuring that price, delivery, and quality targets are met. Manage supplier relationships to ensure timely deliveries and adherence to quality and cost standards. Other duties as assigned by management.
We are seeking a detail-oriented, organized, and eager-to-learn individual. This role offers extensive hands-on experience and comprehensive training. Candidates who excel in time management and record-keeping will thrive in this position.

This job is on site, Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm.

Qualifications



2-5 years as an Inventory Control Clerk, ideally in a manufacturing or industrial work environment or equivalent experience Post-secondary education in either business administration or supply chain management is not required but an asset. Must be attentive to detail and accurate, organized, and have strong planning skills. Proven experience in inventory management, supply chain, or related fields. Previous experience with ERP software is a bonus Overall strong computer skills, involving Microsoft Office 365. Professional communication and interpersonal skills.

Please note that our facility is not accessible by public transportation. Reliable source of transportation is required.



Wage

: $27-33 (based on experience)

Pay: $27.00-$33.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Langley, BC V4W 3Y1: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Inventory control: 2 years (preferred)
