POPS is expanding. We are adding 8,000 square feet and are looking to grow our team with 5 new members to help staff this new space.

Inventory Associates are primarily responsible for keeping shelves stocked, clean, and well merchandised, ensuring an excellent shopping experience for our customers. Working on the sales floor, you'll also assist customers, process orders, and support overall store operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Unload trucks, receive, unpack, and put away inventory. Ensure inventory flows efficiently off of the truck to the shelf, making it ready for sale. Design and set up signs and displays to attract customers and promote sales. Greet and assists customers with a friendly and positive attitude. Answer questions about merchandise and advise on product selection. Cut lumber, window screening, pipe, and related materials to size requested by customers. Pick orders and load trucks for deliveries. Place orders for non-stock or out of stock items. Identify, report, and respond to safety issues.

Requirements:

Excellent communication and organizational skills. A strong attention to detail. A positive attitude and an eagerness to learn, grow, and continually develop skills to grow within the business. An understanding of Microsoft Office, email, and retail computer systems. Solid mathematical/measurement skills. Able to lift 22kg (50lbs) frequently to load and unload trucks and customer orders. Able to stand for an extended period of time.
These are full-time positions. Typical shift schedule is Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs.
