The Role

We are seeking a talented and analytical individual to join Finecast Canada as an Inventory Analyst. As an essential member of the team, you will be responsible for optimizing and managing Connected TV inventory, ensuring optimal performance and revenue generation. The ideal candidate possesses an eye for detail, strong quantitative skills, and an understanding of advertising and media trends

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage the availability of Connect TV inventory across multiple suppliers, ensuring a healthy balance between demand and supply to maximize revenue potential.
  • Utilize historical data and market trends to forecast future demand for Connected TV inventory. Collaborate with client services and engagement teams to align inventory availability with expected demand.
  • Analyse the performance of Connected TV inventory in terms of supply partner spend, revenue goals and campaign optimizations. Identify opportunities for improvement and implement optimization strategies.
  • Prepare and present regular reports, including inventory availability, utilization, and revenue performance. Use data visualizations to communicate key findings effectively.
  • Use data analysis tools and techniques to identify trends, patterns, and insights related to inventory performance and overall media landscape.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive benchmarks to inform inventory management strategies.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with various teams, including operations, analytics, client services, and engagement to drive the overall success of media initiatives.
Experience
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Statistics, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in media, advertising, or ad tech industries.
  • Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, SQL, or data visualization platforms.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to draw insights from complex datasets.
  • Familiarity with ad serving platforms is a plus.
  • Understanding of programmatic advertising is preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills to present findings and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and ever-changing media environment.
