Business Information Management (BIM) at TD is part of a creative, enterprise-wide data and analytics ecosystem. In this professional role you\'ll have the guidance of senior team members and Subject Matter Experts to help you design, develop and support key business information management solutions for TD. As Business Information Management Analyst I, you will:

  • Focus on providing functional specialized business support, in your area of specialty, within defined parameters
  • Conduct a range of data analyses, assessing business information-related data requirements aligned to business needs and for specific data platforms, applications systems and servers
  • Partner and collaborate with internal team and business and technology partners to elicit information / data requirements
  • Articulate requirements and resolve data / application issues and support the user community by helping them interpret data
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of data available from upstream sources and data within relevant platform / applications (e.g. through data profiling, data quality reporting tools, business metadata capture)
  • Define, build and manage data dictionary / catalogue for data platforms, systems, servers, applications
  • Gather, review, analyze, profile, validate and map system data warehouse to meet reporting needs
  • Run quality assurance reports and ensure metadata and data lineage is captured, compatible and maintained in compliance with data management tools and processes as well as enterprise data standards, policies and guidelines
  • Participate fully as a team member, support a positive work environment that promotes service to the business, quality and innovation while ensuring timely communication of issues/points of interest

Job Requirements
What can you bring to TD? Share your most relevant experience, credentials and knowledge for this role, as well as these essential requirements and attributes:
  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • Two (2) or more years relevant experience from a business administration, statistical, mathematical, scientific or financial background
  • Sound conceptual knowledge in your area of specialty
  • Fundamental knowledge of various data sources, tools and technologies used in preparing summaries/reports
  • Knowledge of competitor and market trends
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines
  • Expertise in using analytical software tools, MS Office, data analysis methods and reporting techniques
  • Expertise in working cooperatively and independently, communicate professionally and positively (both in speaking and writing), follow instructions and help building positive relationships across teams and functions
  • Act as a brand champion for our business area / function and TD, both internally and externally

Additional Information
Main accountable tasks and responsibilities
  • Accountable for Quarterly and Annual Inventory Audits
  • Vendor Communications, time management, Audit Planning and reconciliation
  • Daily, Weekly, Monthly Inventory/Warehouse/Call Centre Reporting
  • Inventory integrity checks, clean-up and loss-prevention measures
  • Supporting Ad-hoc reporting requests to business departments
  • Process and compliance understanding with data evaluation
  • Business evaluation, KPI\'s, and improvements
  • Understanding of life cycle device management
To be successful in this role, you\'ll need to:
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft office tools
  • Proficient in MS Access and Macros
  • Proficient in Excel
  • SQL Knowledge
  • Warehouse, Inventory Management, Call Centre Knowledge
