As a world leader in the design and manufacturing industry, Active Exhaust is seeking an eager and enthusiastic experienced Inventory Analyst to join our successful Toronto team immediately. We are looking for a talent with solid professional skills in the manufacturing industry who can provide a superb customer experience.

This role is primarily responsible for developing, implementing, and monitoring all key functions related to inventory transactions to assure that they are accurate and timely.

This position reports to the Inventory Control Supervisor.

What you will be doing:

  • Work order management through MRP for FGS and LCC; Create work orders, complying with all methods, systems, and processes, with full communication, to ensure efficient and effective operations of scheduling activities.
  • Perform transfers to external warehouses.
  • Receive tags and process finished goods Inventory.
  • Material & labour allocations; Includes: discrepancy investigation, transfers/adjustments & communication with all applicable Departments.
  • Perform ECN changes, under the guidance of Program Managers.
  • Perform inventory audits and cycle counts, as requested by Supervisor.
  • Perform inventory checks and provide prompt responses, as requested by CS/Sales.
  • Inventory variance (Part cannot be located) - includes finding FG, correct SYSRPO received, Adjustment
  • Support operations - Fix variance between SFC issued & Active usage / Substitute mat'l use
  • Monitor and respond to unforeseeable changes affecting inventory levels and service levels.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects/tasks to achieve cost reduction goals.
  • Adherence to all 5S Workplace protocols.
  • Maintain KPIs as described by management
  • Working in compliance with the current Ontario Safety Legislation and Active's safety program.
  • Other duties as required
What you bring along:
  • University or College degree /diploma in supply chain management or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience in inventory management or similar discipline
  • Strong knowledge of ERP, Syspro an asset
  • Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Visio, PowerPoint)
  • Excellent communications skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong conceptual, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong organizational, time management, and planning skills with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-through and the ability to work independently
