The Opportunity

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Supply Planning, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible for analyzing data to determine the optimal level of inventory to keep on hand to support customer service. The ideal candidate is experienced with MRP/ERP systems and has sound knowledge of supply chain processes.

Responsibilities


  • Support the E&O process, ensuring the business has complete visibility across all departments and locations.

  • Streamline inventory KPI reporting and increase frequency of visibility.

  • Ensure Distribution Centre teams have an accurate requirement for stamped inventory, by province.

  • Work closely with the Inventory Program Manager to track and monitor Inventory Policy adherence.

  • Develop scenario-based modelling for current inventory positions and future risks.

  • Be a Supply Chain influencer for Master and Meta Data as it relates to SKUs and an BOMs for new products.

  • Evaluate and recognize areas for Continuous Improvement in inventory reporting and management.

  • Reconcile data from multiple sources and recommend opportunities to improve data accuracy.

  • Responsible for the timely retrieval, processing, forecasting and analysis of future inventory positions.

  • Work closely with Sales and Operations Teams to provide insights into inventory performance and areas

  • for improvement.

  • Highlight issues, lead corrective actions, and escalate roadblocks for prompt resolution.

  • Produce regular reports and analysis using a range of data analytics tools.

  • Other duties as assigned.


Experience and Background

  • 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in an analytic role

  • Strong technology skills, including Microsoft-Office, e-Commerce platforms, systems, CRM databases, report preparation and multi-channel communication

  • Resolve problems by analyzing data and identifying problems

  • Excellent organizational, analytical and communication skills (oral and written)

  • A strong sense of personal integrity
