SSR Mining - Seabee Gold Operation (SGO) is hiring for an Inventory Analyst.
About Your New Role:
Reporting to the Superintendent, Supply Chain, the Inventory Analyst will be responsible to develop and maintain the company's inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs. The incumbent will gather and analyze data on Inventory KPIs to inform procurement and warehouse stocking patterns, rationalize inventory holdings, optimize availability of spare parts for site operations and maximize available working capital, while keeping within Supply Chain budgetary limits. You will provide useful insights that guide the actions and decisions of the supply chain and other functional divisions of the Seabee Gold Operations
Your Key Responsibilities:Compile, analyze, and present data to inform annual supply chain budget for goods and services. Carry out Inventory data analysis measuring pre-determined KPIs and using those KPIs to inform procurement and warehouse stocking patterns. Execute inventory control measures to ensure accuracy, maximize stock inventory turnover, minimize stock on hand, and avoid stock out on needed materials. Prepare, implement and review the annual cycle count schedule, lead the investigation of identified stock variances and provide advice on required stock adjustments. Participate in the site's demand planning process, providing historical consumption data to ensure stock and direct order parts are ordered correctly. Control inventory quality & quantity identifying non-moving stock, aged and obsolete stock and resolving them through adoption of appropriate SSR Mining procedures. Produce weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual reports on inventory performance and forecast future potential requirements to guide site decisions. Identify, monitor and maintain spare parts according to the ABC criticality definitions based on site consumption and utilization. Write and maintain accurate up-to-date procedures for all inventory control processes. Responsible for the site's material master standards, including MRP information (MIN/MAX, UOM etc.), material descriptions, and inventory parameters maintained in the company ERP. Support inventory data cleansing, eliminating duplicates, updating bin locations and material IDs to ensure data reliability in the ERP (SAP) and material master tool (MIDAS). Understand all aspects of the catalogue, support the item creation process and perform catalogue maintenance as required for new and existing items. Actively participate in all regulatory and compliance audits related to the supply chain. Collaborate with colleagues on other SSR Mining sites to refine and adopt inventory management best practices. Coach supply chain and site team members on all aspects regarding Inventory Control and material master data management. Manage Inventory projects and processes, working independently with limited supervision and collaboratively with a team of professionals in IT, Finance, Supply chain and site operations.

Your Knowledge and Skills:
This is a highly data driven & computer system role; the successful candidate will:Possess superior technical skills in Power BI, MS Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Have extensive experience working with SAP ERP system MM and PM modules. Have a detailed understanding of MRP and inventory control / management systems and ERP. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, communication and interpersonal skills. Comfortable making presentations, interfacing with diverse teams and business leadership. Manage ongoing assignments through prioritization and exercising good judgment. Knowledge of supply chain principles and industry best practices. Demonstrated strong work ethic and strict attention to detail.

Your Education and Experience:
The successful candidate will have:Tertiary level education in business administration, computer science or information technology, or equivalent. Minimum five (5) years' experience in data analysis, warehousing and inventory management. Equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience considered. Certification in SAP ERP, data / business analytics and Inventory will be an advantage.

About Our Working Conditions:
This position has a schedule of 4 days on, 3 days off at our remote camp which you will be required to fly in fly out with pick up points in Saskatoon, Prince Albert and La Ronge.
