Your area of focus.
The Internet Sales Associate is responsible for managing online leads, responding promptly and professionally to customer inquiries, and guiding prospective buyers through the digital sales process. This role requires excellent communication skills, attention to detail, and a strong understanding of digital sales tools and CRM platforms
What drives your day-to-day?
Respond to all internet leads via email, phone, and text in a timely and professional manner
Set appointments for interested customers to visit the dealership
Follow up with potential buyers using a structured follow-up process
Maintain accurate and up-to-date notes in the CRM system (e.g., VinSolutions, DealerSocket)
Communicate vehicle features, availability, pricing, and promotions
Work closely with the sales team to ensure a seamless handoff from online to in-person experience
Monitor inventory and ensure vehicle listings are up-to-date on all platforms
Meet or exceed monthly internet sales and appointment goals
Provide outstanding customer service throughout the sales journey
What are the must-haves...
Must be 18 years of age or older to meet insurance requirements for operating a motor vehicle
Possession of authorized documentation required to gain employment, in addition to having a current, valid CA-issued Driver's License and acceptable Driver's Abstract
Must submit to and adequately pass a pre-employment background and MVR screen prior to employment
Open availability to work days, evenings, weekends, and some holidays knowing that employees are required to stay until the customer's purchase is complete and their satisfaction ensured
High school diploma or equivalent required, bachelor's degree preferred
3+ years of experience in a customer-facing role required with experience in retail, sales, marketing, and customer service being preferred
Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, which includes: standing, sitting, walking, bending, crouching, reaching, lifting, etc.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to construct emails and messages in a professional and inviting manner
Has the competitive spirit, drive, outgoing personality, consistency, and resilience to meet monthly sales objectives while following a daily work plan
