Job Description


As an International Coverage Treasury Sales specialist, you will primary drive the Treasury Services / Payments sales effort with Canada based subsidiaries of Commercial Banking clients mainly headquartered in the United States and operating across different industries.

Job Responsibilities

  • Develop strong partnerships with our US banking teams and product partners across the entire Wholesale Payments & Treasury Services product suite (including card & merchant solutions) to deliver Canadian cash management services solutions to Canadian subsidiaries of our US based clients and prospects.
  • Serve as a Canada subject matter expert supporting the growth of profitable relationships within the Commercial Bank.
  • You will be a relationship manager capable of independent activity and will have a firm understanding of Canadian cash management products coupled with strong technical expertise and transaction execution skills.
  • Performance will be measured by your effectiveness in many marketing areas, including but not limited to calling activity, proposal and revenue generation, pipeline momentum, relationship profitability, portfolio development and pricing strategy.
  • Ability to build successful relationships, and propensity to help build the franchise for the long term
  • Seek opportunities to cross sell into every relationship and anticipate the future needs of the client by possessing strong creative solutioning and problem solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex problems into concise conclusions

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 10+ years of successful direct sales or relationship management - focused on successful development and delivery of Canadian cash management solutions
  • Extensive knowledge of Canadian commercial banking cash management products and services
  • Strong sales management skills; demonstrate strong tactical selling; negotiation skills and ability to exceed aggressive sales goals
  • Firm understanding of Canadian cash management products coupled with strong technical expertise and transaction execution skill and fundamental understanding of Credit.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • Bachelor\'s degree
  • Formal bank credit training program
  • Ability to travel 20 - 30% of the time
