Job Summary:
The Internal Communications Specialist Co-op will implement various communications and marketing strategies to manage, deliver and streamline all internal communications. The ideal candidate has a strong ability to interpret information into communication media. They will demonstrate a willingness to learn, help out where needed, and work on a variety of communications-related tasks at any given time.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Establish and oversee all internal communications processes by devising ways to effectively share internal department information with/between our employees
  • Develop high-level internal communications material, including presentations, company announcements, newsletters, and more
  • Execute all internal communication emails in partnership with internal stakeholders
  • Maintain and update internal SharePoint and website content
  • Develop internal posts and work with internal stakeholders for approvals
  • Plan and create relevant content assets such as blog posts, case studies, video, etc.
  • Update and maintain photo/video repository
  • Other communications/marketing duties as required

Education:
  • Working towards completing a degree in marketing, communications or related field



Additional Information


Required Skills:


  • Strong creative and writing skills are a must
  • Highly organized with the ability to work on various tasks at one time
  • Ability to work with a variety of internal stakeholders
  • Self-starter who takes initiative to identify and resolve problems
  • Eagerness to jump in and help with task at hand
  • Experience with industrial automation is preferred but not necessary.
