We are looking for a creative Internal Communications Manager to deliver engaging experiences for our employees. This position will be, at different times, a strategist, writer, project manager, creative problem solver, content producer, storyteller, and messaging authority. You will be responsible for connecting, aligning, and inspiring our global team with our People Promise. In this critical role, you will have a global remit that brings you to the heart of our people strategy and the opportunity to create initiatives that will directly impact our company culture. This position is open to candidates who have their residence in the United States or in Canada (preferably east coast).
Key responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and execute strategic internal communications programs that align with our business priorities, as well as shape employee engagement and culture.
  • Work collaboratively with leaders and cross-functional partners to tell our company story internally, driving innovative content and campaigns that ensure our people are always informed and inspired.
  • Build a comprehensive editorial plan and execute it flawlessly.
  • Help bring to life and embed our new Employer Brand identity by developing a set of brand hallmarks for the employee experience, in line with the new People Promise.
  • Ideate and create new communication approaches, experiences, and channels to keep our remote teams engaged and connected.
  • Provide strategic planning support for programs to influence culture change and promote diversity and inclusion.
  • Develop a comprehensive, insights-driven DE&I strategy and champion an inclusive employee experience across OneSpan.
  • Launch and support Employee Resource Groups to ensure we are amplifying underrepresented voices and building supportive communities for all.
  • Help us grow our social impact program and design campaigns that connect our employees around giving back and doing good.
  • Strategically build and cultivate trusted relationships across our different teams and offices to maintain a pulse on the organization.
Requirements
  • You have a Bachelor\'s Degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related discipline.
  • You have 6+ years of experience in internal or executive communications, marketing, or PR, in-house or agency.
  • You have a proven track record of delivering high-impact, creative communications programs that drive engagement.
  • You have outstanding writing and editing skills, as well as a journalistic ability to source stories from employees.
  • You have the ability to capture the voice of leadership and make lofty concepts like vision, strategy, and business priorities come to life in a clear and compelling way.
  • You have a passion for design and creative skills in Photoshop and Illustrator, and you never send out communications that are not pixel-perfect.
  • You are positive, energetic, and collaborative, taking responsibility for getting things done, and taking pride in doing them well.
  • You are exceptionally organized, you juggle priorities with ease, and you do whatever it takes to keep projects on track.
  • You have outstanding presentation skills and sufficient gravitas to deliver advice to leaders.
