As we continue to grow and expand our operations, we are seeking a skilled Internal Audit Manager to join our team in Vaughan, Ontario. Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Internal Auditor to join our team. The Internal Auditor will be responsible for conducting Internal Audit Manager, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our internal controls and processes. You will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the internal audit function, including planning, executing, and reporting on audit activities. Working closely with key stakeholders across the organization, you will identify areas of risk and opportunity to enhance operational effectiveness and mitigate potential threats. Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement a risk-based internal audit plan that aligns with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements.
  • Lead and conduct internal audits of financial, operational, and compliance processes, ensuring adherence to established policies and procedures.
  • Assess the effectiveness of internal controls and make recommendations for improvement as needed.
  • Collaborate with departmental leaders to identify areas of risk and provide guidance on risk mitigation strategies.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports outlining findings, recommendations, and action plans for management review.
  • Monitor and follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations to ensure timely resolution.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging risks, and regulatory changes to inform audit activities and enhance audit methodologies.
  • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and excellence within the internal audit function.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field; CPA designation preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management, or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of audit methodologies, principles, and practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
  • Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact confidently with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Proven ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and audit software applications.
