Job Description

Our global client is seeking a Director of Internal Audit for an 18 month contract. In this role you will be responsible for the execution of test procedures, provide training and assign work to audit staff, supervise and review staff work, providing recommendations for strengthening internal controls at properties and complete administrative functions for site audits including scheduling, communications with properties, tracking results and securing resourcing.Must be able to travel extensively to conduct Corporate and Site Audits - AMERICAS, EUROPE, UAE (must have Canadian Passport)

• Ability to work independently and with limited supervision

• Must be organized, with the ability to handle multiple priorities.

• Must have excellent communication skills both verbal and written.

• Ability to complete meaningful presentations for senior management and audit committee

• Must have the highest degree of professional integrity, and be able to work in a safe, prudent and organized manner.

• The ability to liaison professionally with multiple stakeholders including senior executives, External Auditors, Consultants, Site Asset Managers and Site General Managers and Directors of Finance

• Commitment to follow all local and corporate policies and procedures

• Thorough Knowledge of Corporate Finance & Accounting, and Financial Operations (CPA Designation preferred)

• Must be able to provide assessment of various financial and operational risks
