Location
This position is eligible for a hybrid work model. When attending an event or meeting in person, your primary office location will be based out of Burlington City Hall at 426 Brant Street Burlington, Ontario. Work location is subject to change at the discretion of the City due to operational demands.
Position Overview
This position is responsible for supporting department-wide business processes that play a key role in the delivery of Transportation Services. This is an administrative support role that will be involved in a variety of areas such as, Customer Service, Data Analysis, File Structure Organization, Project Management support, Invoicing and Reporting.
Responsibilities
You will be responsible to:Assist the department with the corporate Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system by creating service work orders and performing data analysis. Assist in building the department file and folder structure and re-name and re-locate department records. Assist with entering updates to various Project Management software. Create workflow diagrams and standard operating procedures (SOPs) to document departmental processes. Assist Supervisor staff by tracking program costs and processing invoices.

Requirements
You are currently enrolled in or are a recent graduate of a post-secondary program in Business, Business Administration or related discipline (maximum 12-month post-grad). This is coupled with strong organizational and computer skills. Experience with data analysis and project management principles is considered an asset. You possess strong communication skills and are able to meet deadlines, demonstrate initiative and work with minimal direction.
You must be available to work 35 hours per week on a continual basis from September to December 2025.
This position may require occasional travel between sites and/or City facilities.
