ABOUT THE TEAM
The Real Estate Portfolio Strategy team works directly with the front office to define, plan, and coordinate the execution of the Real Estate teams investment strategy. This includes benchmarking our performance, setting deployment targets, and providing research, models, and tools to evaluate investments, markets, and sectors.
ABOUT YOUR ROLE
As an Intern, Real Estate Portfolio Strategy youll:
Construct portfolio and performance analysis tools
Conduct research on markets, sectors and trends impacting the real estate industry
Update and maintain portfolio data and reports
Prepare ad-hoc analysis and reports
WHAT YOULL NEED
Currently enrolled in a University or College degree in MIS, Finance, or STEM field
High level of proficiency in Excel Knowledge of databases and statistics
Someone who enjoys learning new things and a true curiosity for the world around them
A proactive and entrepreneurial attitude
Proven ability to work in a team setting and to easily adapt to change
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Must return to studies after the internship or the internship
Good communications skills in English and French (or willingness to learn) *Regular interactions in English with investment partners based outside of Quebec Example: peers, bankers, brokerage firms, etc. and PSP employees in our offices in Hong Kong, London and New York, and interactions in French with employees in our local offices in Montreal and Ottawa
