Passionate about cooking with an eye for aesthetics and detail?





Under the supervision of the head chef, the intern plays an essential role in assisting the senior cooks/head chef with various food preparation tasks.



We have winter internship opportunities located at Le Germain Hotel Toronto Maple Leaf Square in Downtown Toronto for a period varying between 3 to 6 months starting this January 2026.




WHAT YOU'LL DO




Assist in the preparation of ingredients, ensuring they are measured, chopped and organized as per the Chef's instructions Work closely with kitchen team to ensure efficient and timely service Actively seek opportunities to learn and enhance culinary skills Willingness to assist in different sections of the kitchen as needed Operate all kitchen equipment and conduct themselves with safety in mind at all times Other task as required



WHAT YOU'LL BRING




Culinary school diploma or Experience in full service restaurant Ability to work within a team Good communication skills Able to lift/carry/push supplies or equipment weighing up to 50 lbs Able to stand for up to 5 hours at a time
