Ce poste offre une excellente opportunitxc3xa9 de dxc3xa9veloppement de compxc3xa9tences et aptitudes principalement en communications corporatives. Le ou la stagiaire participera xc3xa0 la rxc3xa9daction et la diffusion de communications internes, xc3xa0 la planification dxc3xa9vxc3xa9nements et se joindra xc3xa0 divers projets en soutien aux membres de lxc3xa9quipe des Communications et Affaires externes dIOC.
xc3x80 cette fin, le ou la stagiaire sera appelxc3xa9(e) xc3xa0 :

• Soutenir lxc3xa9quipe des Communications et Affaires externes dIOC, dans la mise en xc5x93uvre des stratxc3xa9gies de communication.
• Fournir un soutien dans la gestion de nos canaux de communications internes, dont le bulletin bimensuel.
• Rxc3xa9diger et crxc3xa9er du contenu pour les publics internes.
• Soutenir la planification dxc3xa9vxc3xa9nements internes et externes, tels que des confxc3xa9rences ou des xc3xa9vxc3xa9nements pour les membres du personnel.
• Gxc3xa9rer lenvoi des demandes de traduction et de conception graphique auprxc3xa8s de nos fournisseurs

About the role
We have an exciting communications internship opportunity available at the Iron Ore Company of Canada for the summer of 2025 (with flexible dates). The intern can be based in Labrador City or St. Johns, Newfoundland and Labrador, or in Sept-xc3x8eles or Montrxc3xa9al, Quxc3xa9bec. This opportunity will provide a great insight into how a communications team functions and supports a leading North American producer and exporter of premium iron ore pellets and high-grade concentrate.
This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop skills and abilities primarily in corporate communications. The intern will participate in the writing and dissemination of internal communications and the planning of events and will join various projects in support of the IOC Communications and External Affairs team.
In this role you will:

• Support the IOC Communications and External Affairs team in the implementation of communications strategies.
• Provide support in the management of our internal communications channels, including the bimonthly newsletter.
• Write and create content for internal audiences.
• Support planning of internal and external events such as conferences and employee events.
• Manage the submission of translation and graphic design requests with our vendors.

What youll bring:

• University student in communications or a related field (e.g. public relations, marketing, etc.)
• Flexibility and autonomy
• Excellent writing skills
• Language proficiency:

• If based in Sept-xc3x8eles or Montreal, good knowledge of English is preferred in addition to excellent proficiency in French.
• If based in Labrador City or St. Johns, excellent proficiency in English is required. Good knowledge of French is a plus.
• Ability to create visuals (Canva, PowerPoint)

• To be eligible for this internship, you must have the right to work in Canada.
