Role At a Glance
This position is ideal for individuals with foundational experience in architecture who are eager to further develop their skills in a professional setting and are pursuing licensure as a Registered Architect. The Intern Architect will perform tasks of limited scope and complexity, assisting senior architects and managing small-scale projects with guidance.
We provide comprehensive support through the licensure process, including mentorship from experienced architects, and opportunities to gain practical experience on diverse projects. By investing in our intern architects, we aim to cultivate the next generation of licensed professionals who will lead and innovate in the field of architecture.

What You Will Do
Collaborate with Project Architect through the development of design concepts
Prepare architectural presentation documents
Research building science, sustainable design and design solutions related to project work
Provide building code and zoning bylaw research and support
Prepare contract documents in collaboration with the design studio
What You Bring to the Table
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Architecture from an accredited program
Registration with AAA, or other provincial governing body, or currently working towards qualifying for registration
Self-motivated individual capable of assuming increasing responsibility for both current and future projects with an interest in growing with the fir
Ability to multi-task and coordinate efforts on multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
Demonstrated strong skills in creative design solutions, innovation, and research
Knowledge of the Alberta Building Codes, building systems and materials
Strong working knowledge of current versions of Revit, AutoCAD, 3D Max, Sketch-up, CorelDraw, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Enthusiastic team player who thrives in a collaborative environment
