Your Opportunity

Stantec is looking for a Trenchless Rehabilitation Engineer to join our Water Team and take on a dynamic role of working on multiple tasks and deadlines and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams across several offices. Our group is involved in a wide range of sewer and watermain of both large and small diameter systems including open cut construction, rehabilitation, relining, trenchless and tunneling projects.

Your Key Responsibilities

Provide technical deliverables on a variety of rehabilitation projects including Condition Assessment, CIPP lining (Cured-In-Place Pipe), SIP (Sprayed-In-Place), Sliplining, etc.

Manage tasks with responsibility for technical quality, risk management and client relations during project execution.

Assist with major rehabilitation and condition assessment proposal development and develop appropriate fee estimates.

Assist with major rehabilitation pursuit and reviews and conducts alternative analyses to support business case evaluations for making project decisions.

Understands and implements industry standards and manuals as well as client and regulatory agencies standards and requirements.

Review of CCTV surveys and other inspection and condition assessment reports.

Rehabilitation planning.

Field investigations and surveys.

Feasibility, preliminary and detailed design for rehabilitation of linear water and wastewater infrastructure.

Preparation of tender documents, drawings and construction cost estimates.

Preparation of Technical Memorandums and Reports.

Coordinate with construction activities, providing guidance and clarification of the design during construction.

Perform or assist the Project Manager with managing and monitoring financial performance of project budgets.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

Inspection and condition assessment of linear water and wastewater infrastructure. NASSCO PACP/MACP/LACP certification is a benefit.

Experience in feasibility, preliminary and detailed design for rehabilitation of sanitary and storm sewers and watermains including maintenance holes and chambers.

Education and Experience

Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited University.

Certified or working towards P.Eng License.

Minimum of 5 years of experience working in a consulting environment involved in the design of civil infrastructure projects including trenchless methods for rehabilitation of sewers and watermains.
