Job Description

Rangeland Engineering Canada Corp. is seeking Intermediate Project Engineers, responsible for supporting the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects from initiation to completion. This role ensures technical accuracy, compliance with standards, budget adherence, and timely delivery of project deliverables. The Project Engineer acts as a liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams, ensuring smooth communication and efficient project progress.

Key Responsibilities



Project Planning & Coordination



Assist in developing project scopes, schedules, budgets, and resource plans. Prepare and review technical documents, drawings, and specifications. Support project managers in ensuring milestones and deliverables are achieved.

Engineering & Technical Support



Provide engineering input during design, procurement, construction, and commissioning phases. Review contractor and vendor submissions for technical accuracy and compliance with project requirements. Conduct site visits, inspections, and quality checks.

Project Execution & Monitoring



Track project progress, identify risks, and recommend corrective actions. Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues.

Client & Stakeholder Communication



Act as a point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors. Prepare progress reports and present project updates. Support change management processes and project documentation.

Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Civil, Electrical, Chemical, or related field). 2-5 years of engineering or project coordination experience (industry-specific preferred). Strong understanding of project management principles (PMP certification is an asset). Proficiency in engineering software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, etc.) and MS Office Suite. Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: $60.00-$80.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 50 per week
