MAK Consulting is an exciting and innovative software development company based in Burlington and Brantford, Ontario. We have an immediate opening for a current or future superstar software developer. We are a leading software consulting firm specializing in manufacturing software solutions for the Food & Beverage, Confectionery, and Infant Formula industries.

The ideal candidate would reside within commuting distance to either our Brantford or Burlington office. Currently, MAK's team is following a hybrid structure, working two days a week in one of our office locations.

PLEASE NOTE we are looking for people eligible to obtain a Visa to travel to all over the world. You MUST be a citizen of Canada, US or Mexico, and you must hold an appropriate degree. Permanent residents of Canada and Mexico are not able to apply for TN Visas. Some of our clients are located globally and occasional onsite travel is required to commission an application. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Design and implement application features using .NET Core (C#), Angular, and SQL Work in an agile, team-based environment Translate functional requirements into technical solutions Troubleshoot issues and optimize system performance Participate in code reviews and testing cycles Support junior developers through pairing, documentation, and informal mentorship Contribute to sprint planning, design & estimations, and deployment readiness

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

University/College education in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related disciplines 4+ years experience in .NET / .NET Core (C#) 4+ years experience in JS Frontend Framework (Angular, React, etc.) 2+ years experience in SQL Strong written & oral communication skills Excellent problem solving and team building skills Adaptable, able to learn new skills/technologies

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $85,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
