Tri-global Solutions Group Inc. is seeking one (1) Intermediate Procurement Specialists (RFx Lifecycle Management) to join our talented Service Delivery team at Ministry of Service Alberta and Red Tape Reduction (Government of Alberta).
WORK MODEL: The successful contractor(s) will be working onsite at Oxbridge Place, 9820 - 106 Street NW, Edmonton, AB. Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada to apply (Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident). Standard Hours of work are 08:15 - 16:30 with a 1 hour lunch break Alberta time, Monday through Friday excluding holidays.

The candidate will analyze and refine both business and technical requirements, translating them into detailed RFX solicitation documents as needed. They may also contribute to the initial planning stages to determine how projects will be delivered.
Solicitation Document Preparation:
Support the development of procurement strategies aligned with project objectives and criteria.
Research and refine business and technical requirements.
Prepare RFXs and draft associated review documents.
Identify potential subprojects that may require separate RFXs for specific vendor services.
Assist the Department by interpreting RFXs for vendors and drafting formal responses to inquiries.
Evaluation & Debrief:
Prepare selection methodologies, evaluation plans, mandatory criteria, evaluation schedules, and final award recommendations for RFXs.
Review vendor bids/proposals for completeness, accuracy, and compliance with required standards.
Create supporting documentation in accordance with the Government of Alberta procurement policy.
Assist in organizing bidder conferences and vendor presentations, including developing agendas.
Support the debriefing process for unsuccessful vendors.
Post-RFX Activities:
Assist the Department in finalizing contracts with selected vendors.
Conduct post-procurement reviews and compile vendor performance evaluations and lessons learned.
Prepare formal evaluation reports and procurement recommendations for departmental final reviews and approval.
Maintain accurate and properly filed procurement and contract records.
MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
- Relevant post-secondary education in areas of supply chain, procurement, business or a related field, Acceptable education includes degrees, diplomas and certificates (minimum 2 year diploma). (2 years+)
- Experience editing documents in Adobe Acrobat Pro, or similar PDF editing software. (2 years+)
- Experience independently performing activities related to developing and releasing Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Negotiated Requests for Proposals (NFRPs), Requests for Quotes (RFQs), Requests for Information (RFIs), negotiations, evaluation, supplier feedback, and contract execution. (4 years+)
- Experience in public sector procurement processes including an understanding of trade agreements and competitive bid law. (4 years+)
DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS
- Completion of SCMP or other equivalent courses and associated certificates. (Yes or No)
- Experience proofing and formatting word documents in a work setting. (2 years+)
- Experience using SAP and Ariba for contract workspace management. (2 years+)
- Experience with tender systems (E-bidding). (2 years+)
- Experience using Microsoft Outlook for email messaging, task and calendar tracking, and other relevant, efficient features. (2 years+)
- Experience using basic Excel skills in a work setting. (2 years+)
