We are seeking a skilled and experienced
Mechanical Designer
to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the mechanical design and development of custom generator products using SolidWorks.

Your Key Responsibilities
Work as part of an inter-disciplinary team to develop and design custom generator assemblies, from conceptual design to operational support.
Manage projects as assigned and within project deadlines.
Create 3D assemblies using 3D SolidWorks.
Create and revise complete product drawing packages, including fabrication, vendor and assembly drawings.
Manage drawing files and drawings in SolidWorks PDM.
Support the production department throughout the assembly stage of the project.
Create and update customer submittals, installation guides, and Bill of Materials.
Research and develop product designs.
The Requirements
Graduated from a Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Technology related program at the University or College level.
At least 3-5 years of previous experience in mechanical design or other related fields.
Advanced 3D Modelling experience using 3D SolidWorks and AutoCAD (Not required but considered an asset).
Advanced experience in creating 2D drawings.
Experience using SolidWorks PDM.
Thorough understanding of mechanical engineering concepts.
Knowledge of fabrication processes (Not required but considered an asset).
Knowledge of hydronic system design and pipe routing. (Not required but considered an asset).
Detail-oriented.
Strong time management skills and ability to prioritize.
Ability to effectively communicate ideas to others and follow instructions.
