We are currently looking for an

Intermediate Mechanical Designer

. In this position, you will work closely with other Drafters and Mechanical Designers to design and document complete vacuum and hydrovac units. We prefer candidates who have a diploma in either mechanical engineering technology or engineering design and drafting technology, but we will also accept relevant experience or other related training. Duties will include:

Develop and design equipment based on specifications and requirements provided by senior designers

Create detailed technical drawings and schematics of equipment, including all necessary components and assemblies

Work closely with other design professionals to integrate feedback and make necessary adjustments to designs

Coordinate with fabricators to improve parts and drawings, ensuring manufacturability and functionality of designs

Prepare and print construction drawings for use on the shop floor, ensuring clarity and accuracy

Update and revise existing drawings to reflect changes or improvements based on feedback from team members or changes in design specifications

Organize and maintain design documents, records, and revisions for easy access and future reference

Help identify and address any design-related issues that may affect the quality or functionality of the final product

Preferred Candidates will have:

Technical diploma in related field or equivalent

2+ years experience with CAD Software such as Inventor or SolidWorks

Proficiency in English
