Job Description

Our retail client is seeking an Intermediate Infrastructure Analyst (Infrastructure certified) to support network, storage, and servers within an ITSM/ITIL environment.

Mandatory Skills:

\xc2\xb7 5 years of Infrastructure Analyst experience, with a solid understanding of network, storage and/or servers

\xc2\xb7 ITSM/ITIL experience

\xc2\xb7 Certification related to infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 5 years experience in an IT operational environment

Desirables:

\xc2\xb7 Completion of a recognized degree or diploma

\xc2\xb7 ITIL Certification

Responsibilities:

\xc2\xb7 Oversee installation, upgrade, support, monitoring and optimization of infrastructure

\xc2\xb7 Manage enterprise ticketing system including monitoring departmental incidents, service requests, problem and change tickets

\xc2\xb7 Oversee department activities and resource capacity planning

\xc2\xb7 Work with team members to create schedules for planned department initiatives

\xc2\xb7 Ensure proper testing and analysis is conducted for infrastructure activities

\xc2\xb7 Installs, maintains and upgrades infrastructure equipment

\xc2\xb7 Adhering to vulnerability management standards in environment

\xc2\xb7 Performing Infrastructure Health Checks

\xc2\xb7 Monitor, troubleshoot and optimize hypervisor, operating system and middleware performance

\xc2\xb7 Identify and manage enterprise infrastructure performance bottlenecks

\xc2\xb7 Responsible for ITS audits, coordinating work required to complete the audits, and reporting results

\xc2\xb7 Creation of Request for Goods and Services for software/hardware purchases or renewals

\xc2\xb7 Document infrastructure architecture and solutions

\xc2\xb7 Use process improvement methods to manage work and streamline processes
