Join a team that has the environment down to a science.Your OpportunityWe are seeking an intermediate Hydrogeologist to join our environmental services team in Manitoba (office in Winnipeg) or Saskatchewan (offices in Regina or Saskatoon). The position will join the Water Resource team of Stantecs Environmental Services Business Line.Your Key ResponsibilitiesInstrumental in a variety of projects related to hydrogeologic assessments and groundwater supply developmentFollow safe work practices and adhere to company and client guidelines and policies for planning and executing work in a safe mannerOrganize field investigations in support of hydrogeology studies, including drilling, well construction, and testing oversight, groundwater and surface water sampling, water level monitoring, hydraulic conductivity testing, etc.Design and construction of groundwater monitoring wells and groundwater supply wellsDevelop conceptual site hydrogeologic understandingAnalyze and interpret data including pumping test results, aquifer response, surface water and groundwater interactionContribute to business development activities, including proposals, pre-qualifications, and relationship building with clients and prospective clientsAssist project managers with developing project budgets, determining project scope and establishing project schedulesDemonstrate sound understanding and application of established practices, standards, and guidelinesTime split between the field and office.
