Your ability to build relationships, identify opportunities, and place our value together with our partners will be critical to success. In this role, you will be a part of the Environmental Consulting team, based in the Fort St. John office and will have the ability to work with a great team. Responsibilities - Planning and supervising Stage 2 site investigations, remediation and reclamation projects, including managing subcontractors (line locators, drillers, construction equipment, laborers, weed management etc.). - Overseeing ground disturbance, drilling, collecting soil samples, completing remediation and site reclamation, and groundwater monitoring. - Collaborating with technical and project management teams to develop execution strategies. - Interpreting analytical laboratory results, budget tracking and contractor management. - Writing technical reports. - Leading daily field operations. - Fostering a culture committed to HSE excellence every day. - Mentoring junior staff in operational excellence and client obsession. - Nurturing relationships with field personnel and service providers. Qualifications - Undergraduate degree or diploma in science or land reclamation. - Minimum 5 year\xe2\x80\x99s field experience with environmental site assessments, soil sampling, groundwater monitoring, site remediation and reclamation. - Knowledge of environmental regulations and guidelines. - Possess strong interpersonal skills, communication skills and technical writing skills. - Driven by obsession of excellence and deep sense of accountability. - Emphasis on team accomplishments over individual success. - Keen attention to detail. - Demonstrated cost control processes. - Ability to inspire others. - Strong admiration of all things Swayze.
