About This Opportunity

In this role, you will be designing a wide variety of traditional graphic elements and online assets to help support our in-trade initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Planning and creating a wide range of graphics and layouts for print production and online assets.
• Collaborating with fellow graphic designers and other departments to brainstorm ideas and develop new approaches to creating innovative and expressive graphics.
• Preparing finished art by operating necessary equipment and software.
• Coordinating with outside suppliers, as well as internal and external stakeholders
• Communicating with stakeholders about layout and design.
• Reviewing final layouts and suggesting improvements when appropriate.
• Creating and/or revising digital assets for use in social media campaigns and posts, digital media and print
• Sourcing imagery

Qualifications

• Bachelor\'s degree in graphic design (Web Design, Digital Design, Fine Arts or Visual Communications)
• 3-5 years\' experience as a graphic designer/digital designer
• Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. (please include link with your resume)
• Proficiency with required desktop publishing tools, including Creative Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator & After Effects and Premier Pro
• Working knowledge of social media and the sizing required for each platform
• Working knowledge of front-end web development using, HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, PHP and SQL. Experience in backend setup and programming a plus.
• Demonstrated ability to produce short animations for use in web and social media
• Demonstrated ability to create responsive graphics to ensure compatibility across all digital devices (mobile, tablet, laptop, etc.)
• Demonstrated ability to ensure all webpages are optimized to support SEO and SEM efforts
• Understanding of marketing, production, design, corporate identity and product packaging,
• Experience with typography and social media layouts including banners, icons, buttons, mastheads, infographics, charts, animations and other digital graphics
• A strong eye for visual composition and detail
• Demonstrated ability to manage multiple competing deadlines and prioritize projects..
• Strong influencing and interpersonal skills
• Able to give and receive constructive feedback
