Job Overview


An Intermediate Data Analyst supports data-driven decision-making by collecting, organizing, and analyzing information. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with numbers, spotting patterns, and translating data into actionable insights. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure stakeholders have accurate and meaningful reports that guide business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities



Collect, clean, and organize large datasets from multiple sources. Perform exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and anomalies. Assist in building dashboards and reports to support decision-making. Work with business teams to understand data needs and provide insights. Create visualizations to communicate findings clearly and effectively. Support maintenance and optimization of reporting processes. Ensure data quality and accuracy across sources and outputs. Collaborate with engineers and analysts to improve data workflows. Document processes, methodologies, and insights for reference.

Requirements



Qualifications



Bachelor's degree in Data Analytics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience). Proficiency in Excel/Google Sheets. Foundational knowledge of SQL. Familiarity with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI, Looker). Experience with a programming language (Python / R) is an asset. Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Effective written and verbal communication. Eagerness to learn new tools and analytical techniques.

Desired Skills and Experience



Required Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Economics, or a related field. Proficiency in data analysis tools and languages such as SQL, Excel, Python, or R. Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Strong understanding of statistical methods and data modelling techniques. Ability to work with large datasets and manage multiple tasks effectively. Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex information clearly.

Job Type: Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
