In this full-time permanent role, you will be a champion of diversity & inclusion.

  • Supports senior and lead engineers in all aspects of the production of control systems deliverables for industrial applications.
  • Designs and produces control systems engineering deliverables such as material requisitions, wiring, and narratives.
  • Supports quality procedures and programs and may act as document checker.
  • Works closely with other disciplines, project personnel, and client stakeholders to meet overall project objectives.
  • Assists and directs more junior engineering personnel.
  • Prepares or assists in preparation of conceptual studies, designs, reports, or proposals.


Qualifications
  • 5 to 10 years of progressive experience as an instrumentation and controls engineer, including experience in an EPC/EPCM environment.
  • A recognized degree or diploma in an engineering or scientific discipline from an accredited college or university, and professionally licensed with APEGA or able to apply for registration.
  • Excellent communication skills (Oral and Written).
  • Solid understanding of key design elements such as instrument sizing and selection, wiring, panel layouts, DCS/PLC hardware/software, and industrial safety
  • Working knowledge of industry/regulatory codes and standards.
  • Intermediate to advanced computer skills. Working knowledge of Smart Plant Instrumentation (SPI) preferred.
  • Able to work with minimal supervision and collaborate with co-workers and other disciplines.
