Responsibilities We are seeking an Architectural Technologist in the Architectural Discipline who will work together with the Design Team to develop construction drawings within project timelines that satisfy the schedule. You will check, edit and mark up drawings as required. Additional responsibilities include the performance of site visits, site measures and as-built drawings. You will put together construction packages from start to finish and be responsible for your own projects. You will participate as a key member of the firm\xe2\x80\x99s project delivery team. Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Degree/Diploma in a recognized Architectural Technologist Program (or equivalent). \xc2\xb7 A minimum of three to five (3-5) years of local, professional experience in the architectural industry as a Technologist (Residential experience is preferred). \xc2\xb7 Proficiency in AutoCAD and Sketchup, is a must. \xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of the Ontario Building Code and municipal processes. \xc2\xb7 Capability to coordinate a set of working drawings. \xc2\xb7 Thorough knowledge of building systems, architectural detailing, and construction material. \xc2\xb7 Knowledge of building permit applications. \xc2\xb7 Ability to be self-directed and detail oriented. \xc2\xb7 Team player, self starter and collaborator. \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills and ability to liaise with clients, consultants and team members. \xc2\xb7 Verbal and written fluency in English. \xc2\xb7 A valid drivers license and access to a vehicle.
