We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Architectural Technologist to join our growing team! DESIGN YOUR OWN HOURS! We have part-time and full-time positions available within a structured or flexible work arrangement.Who we are: Rootstock Architecture Inc. is a growing Architectural Studio registered in Alberta and British Columbia. We currently specialize in multi-family, high-end single family and commercial/ professional projects. You should be excited about building technologies, technical detailing, specification development, sustainability and comfortable with managing a project and consultant coordination.We are open to candidates with relevant experience in Alberta and British Columbia.Daily Tasks and Responsibilities: Your primary responsibility will be the preparation of Design and Construction Documents, with opportunities to participate in Contract Administration and Field Reviews. Our studio supports and encourages participation in all project phases to enrich your current abilities and ensure that everyone receives a well-rounded experience.Qualifications + Experience: Architectural Technologist Diploma or equivalent
A minimum of 5 years of relevant Canadian experience in a variety of market sectors
Knowledge of wood-frame construction and detailing
Strong technical knowledge and technical drawing experience with Revit, (Autocad experience an asset)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office
