  • Working on a full range of product types: single-family homes, zero lot lines, duplexes, and row houses. In addition to various types of commercial projects.
  • Preparing a complete set of working drawings, including site plans for development, and building permits.
  • Able to create new complete construction details as requested.
  • Review customer redlines to make customer changes to standard plans.
  • Review & understand Architectural control guidelines.
  • Deal with engineering package and site grading.
Education and experience: Diploma or Degree from 2+ year technology program In this role we value (Qualifications & Skills):
  • A minimum of 3 years of residential & commercial drafting experience in the Canadian design office.
  • You must possess the capability to independently develop approximately 80% of the necessary drawings and coordinate with senior staff and consultants to fulfill the remaining requirements of the project.
  • Works from sketches, notes and other input material to produce completed drawings.
  • 3+ years experience and independent proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, able to work in Microsoft Office products such as Excel and Outlook
  • A proven track record of innovative construction detailing, and elevation designs based on a good understanding of the structural systems. construction processes, and building materials.
  • A good understanding of the NBC AE 2019, land use bylaws and permit processes.
  • A self-starter, highly organized, problem solver, with excellent time management skills.
  • Strong written and verbal skills to communicate with all levels of the company including its executive team.

  • Residential DP & BP Permit drawings "In ALBERTA, CANADA": 2 years (required)
