Your Role:
Assistant Team Lead and Job Captain: Responsible for coordinating and overseeing project tasks, ensuring smooth execution, and supporting the team.
Career Growth: Aims to gain experience and eventually transition into the role of a project architect and team leader.
Skill Development: Focused on enhancing skills related to leading team calls, managing deliverables, and effective communication with clients and senior leadership.
Revit Expertise:
Create three-dimensional facilities.
Coordinate complex systems across disciplines.
BIM proficiency is essential.
Design Mastery:
Craft beautiful, functional designs.
Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team.
Prioritize sustainability.
Technical Knowledge:
Apply building codes (NBCC, BCBC, VBBL, IBC, BC Step Code)
Familiar with construction systems and materials.
Envelope Detailing / assemblies. Best practices.
Experience:
Has a minimum of 7 years of experience.
Holds a pre-professional degree in Architecture or a related field.
Licensing and Project Management:
Holds registration or credentials to register as an Architect or building technologist in Canada.
Project management experience is an asset.
Additional Qualifications:
LEED Green Associate, or LEED AP, and Certified Passive House Designer credentials are assets.
S.A.F.E. Design or CPTED, Safety by Design/HAZOP,
Integrated Project Delivery IPD experience.
PMP: Project Management Professional.
National Defense security clearance / reliability clearance is an asset.
