The Intermediate Accountant, reporting to the Finance Manager, will work within a dynamic Finance team focused on enhancing the Companys success by providing timely & reliable financial information and analysis to our shareholder, regulator, and management; while overseeing the areas of banking, reinsurance accounting, payments, collections, and investments

We want your talent

If you are great at:

• Playing a lead role in executing full cycle accounting & reporting for one of our Insurance Agency subsidiaries., working closely with the related business functions
• Working closely with our insurance agent workforce to provide timely customer service, and develop and maintain policies around our expense management system
• Providing support to the Finance Manager overseeing our Accounts Payables Team
• Gaining proficiency in our general ledger and BI Tool (Power BI), and work with Finance leadership to build efficient and aligned processes leveraging data

If you have:

• Completion of a post-secondary diploma in a related discipline (e.g. Accounting, Finance, Business)
• Three to five years experience working in a Finance function
• Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel and the MS Office Suite
