Our downtown real estate investment client is currently seeking an Intermediate Accountant to join their fast growing team.
Contract Assignment: 14-16 months

Reporting to the Controller, your responsibilities include:
  • Month-end full cycle accounting duties, including project accounting, accounts receivable, accounts payable, prepaid expenses, inter-company reconciliation, cash management, GST tax filings, and analysis of financial statements
  • Subledger reconciliation and continuity workpapers, and maintain clear and detailed records of financial transactions
  • Reconcile all banking transactions and inter-company accounts with related parties and subsidiaries
  • Record daily transactions, monitor and review bank and credit card reconciliations
  • Manage bill approvals and communicate with other departments regarding expenses
  • Manage vendors, track expenses and process bi-monthly payments on a timely basis
  • Prepare analysis and reporting for monthly and quarterly financial reporting results
The Successful Candidate:
  • Studying towards CPA Designation
  • University degree in accounting or related field
  • 2-3 years' accounting experience in a similar role
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
