Intermediate Accountant - Quesnel, BC

PMT Chartered Professional Accountants LLP is seeking an energetic

Intermediate Accountant

Qualifications:

CPA designation or in-progress Minimum 3 years public accounting experience Exceptional verbal and written communication skills Experience with ASPE and ASNPO Client-focused with strong relationship-building skills Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively Experience with accounting and tax software (Caseware and/or TaxCycle is an asset)

Responsibilities:

Prepare working paper files and financial statements for assurance and compilation engagements Prepare corporate, trust, and personal tax returns Support clients with bookkeeping and ad-hoc questions, communicating clearly Contribute to special projects Communicate with CRA on tax matters

Schedule:

Monday to Friday - 7.5 hours/day

day Fridays (June-August)

Overtime during T1 Personal Tax Season (March-April)
