Intermediate Accountant
Job Description
Robert Half is working with a growing gold mining company who is looking for 2 Junior Accountant's to join their team! Reporting to the Controller, the Junior Accountant's will assist with month-end close for 7-8 small companies (entities), as well as process invoices, transfer pricing, AP and bank reconciliations, journal entries, follow up on AR, and ad-hoc reporting. Based in Prince George, British Columbia, these roles are 100% working remote after 1 week of training (client willing to fly out selected candidates + accommodation, costs included).
Requirements
2+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping/accounting experience
Post secondary Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Bookkeeping or relevant discipline
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Solid understanding of bank reconciliations, and month-end close
Able to work well independently, as part of a team
Ability to take initiative
Available to start working as soon as Oct 11th
