As our Intermediate Accountant you are responsible for providing support to the accounts payable and accounting teams. Qualifications
What you need for this position with PRT:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Business, Finance or related field, or the equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CPA designation or CPA candidate would be considered an asset
  • A minimum of 3 years’ experience in an office environment, in an accounting role
  • Firm understanding of basic accounting and financial reporting principles and practices
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office, Word, and Outlook, and advanced Excel skills
  • Meticulous attention to detail with a high level of accuracy and organization skills
  • Demonstrated experience working under pressure with tight deadlines in a confidential setting
  • Ability to communicate tactfully, efficiently and effectively with all levels of staff and external parties, both written and verbal
  • Experience with accounting software; Epicor experience considered an asset
