Job Description

We have an exciting opportunity for an Intermediate Accountant to work with client in the Pharmaceutical industry. In a dynamic, fast paced environment, the Intermediate Accountant will be a key member accountable for delivering timely, accurate and relevant financial information to support financial, management and statutory reporting. You must have a desire/willingness to investigate and learn new skills/concepts/tools and be a self-starter.

• Preparation of month-end, quarter-end and year-end journal entries, schedules, reconciliations, reporting and analysis

• Look for opportunity for continuous improvement of activities and processes

• Ad hoc reporting and analysis, special projects as required

o Prepare various account reconciliations and analysis

o Involve in various processes including asset disposals, assessment of useful life, internal labour capitalization

Your skills/experience

• A designated CPA with a minimum of 8 years relevant work experience. An equivalent combination of education, training and experience will also be considered

• Demonstrated understanding of GAAP

• Proficiency with Excel (e.g., pivot tables, simple macros, and ability to analyze large data sets)

• Experience with Pharmaceutical and/or Manufacturing industries

• Thrives in a collaborative team focused environment, adaptive and enthusiastic about change and continuous improvement

• Detail oriented with high standards of excellence and an enthusiastic self-starter with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills at all organizational levels
