As an Accountant, you will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams and provide financial insights to support decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will possess excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of accounting principles. Responsibilities:
1. Perform day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger maintenance, and bank reconciliations.
2. Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting standards.
3. Conduct regular analysis of financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
4. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support strategic planning initiatives.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes.
6. Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess financial performance and identify areas for improvement.
7. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and assist in the preparation of audits, tax filings, and other financial reporting.
8. Contribute to process improvements and automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial operations.
9. Stay updated on accounting regulations and industry trends, recommending changes or modifications to financial policies and procedures as necessary.
10. Assist in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor\'s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
2. Proven experience as an Accountant, preferably in the healthcare industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and regulations (GAAP or IFRS).
4. Proficient in using accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with high attention to detail.
6. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
7. Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
8. Demonstrated integrity and ethical behavior in handling sensitive financial information.
9. Experience with process improvements and automation initiatives is a plus.
10. Knowledge of healthcare reimbursement systems and regulations is an asset.

- Outstanding data entry skills

- AA or BS/BA in Accounting or related field preferred

- Skilled in Spreadsheet and ERP system

- Month end closings experience

- Comprehensive knowledge of budget forecasting
