Curtis-Villar Chartered Professional Accountants is growing and looking for the next outstanding team member to join us! Are you someone who enjoys interacting with clients and brings their A-game each and every day? Do you excel at mentoring more junior colleagues and helping to mold them into exceptional accountants?

Your role on the team will include a variety of responsibilities working with a wide range of exciting clientele - the small to medium sized businesses that are driving Ontario's economy. You will be responsible for understanding deadlines, preparing files and updating the team on changes to accounting and assurance standards. As a key member of the team, you will be accountable for taking ownership of tasks you are assigned and researching issues to be addressed. You will be responsible to bring ideas to meetings and to provide solutions that positively impact our team and workflows.

To provide the most up to date experience we are embracing cloud based applications and automation to free us up for the exciting, high-value work our clients are looking for.

For CPA candidates - please note this would be a role in the ACT program, not External Audit.

Effective and professional communication is your calling card. You aim to provide client service and partner with clients in achieving their goals. You are confident enough to develop client relationships and build rapport with team members, business partners and clients. You are excited about being exposed to new technology and you understand that client's needs are rapidly changing how and what we do. You want to be at the forefront of this movement. You have experience using a variety of programs such as (but not limited to) QuickBooks Online, Xero, Caseware, TaxPrep, Dext, Jobber, Wagepoint, Fathom, MoneyThumb, iFirm, etc.
