Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Intermediate Accountant to join our dynamic team in Dieppe, New Brunswick.

Reporting to the Controller, the Intermediate Accountant is responsible for performing accounting/finance functions, reporting and other related duties contributing to the success of Imperial Manufacturing Group.

Work to be Performed:

Full cycle accounting support, including month-end journal entries and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts Assist in the preparation of accurate monthly financial statements and management reports Ensure compliance with established accounting standard procedures Prepare templates, wire payments and other banking tasks Maintain accounting schedules Assist on year-end audit files Work on special projects as requested All other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Minimum three years of related work experience University degree in accounting. Working towards your completion of CPA Accounting designation is an asset. Solid interpersonal skills and an ability to work as part of a team and independently. Excellent communication and attention to detail Organizational, problem-solving and analytical skills. Able to meet reporting deadlines as required Intermediate level with Microsoft Excel is required Experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset Experience using an ERP system (Oracle) is an asset
