We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Interior Painter to join our finish carpentry installation team.
If you have strong experience delivering high-quality paint finishes, including cutting, rolling, spraying, lacquer and latex based. If you have experience with stain grade finishes, clear coat, caulking and sanding different types of materials we want you.

We are a growing brand in Calgary looking to bring painting in-house so we can continue to deliver high quality paint finishes for our customers. There is opportunity for this role to grow into a leadership position as we grow, and eventually lead a painting division.

esponsibilties

Important: Quality prep including masking, sanding, filling, drywall patching.
Selecting the best paint or finish for the task at hand. Apply paint, stain, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, airless spray equipment, or other tools. Refer to plans and specifications to ensure correct work is being done. Communicate with customers regarding their selections, finish quality and provide excellent customer experience Additional roles: Caulking, sanding, filling nail holes. Occasional drywall repairs tape and mudding.

Collaborate with other trades such as electricians, carpentry, and shop to ensure timelines are maintained. Conduct quality inspections to ensure finishes meet company standards and client expectations.

Experience

Proven experience in residential and commercial painting projects with a strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship. (3 years min) Familiarity with hand tools (e.g., caulking guns, putty knives), power tools (e.g., airless sprayers), and specialized equipment used in industrial painting or restoration work. Additional maintenance person experience or maintenance skills will be considered an asset for versatile project support.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $25.00-$39.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 - 44 per week
