We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Finish Carpenter to join our construction team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in carpentry, woodworking, and finishing techniques, with the ability to interpret blueprints and schematics. This role involves working on residential, commercial, or restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and adherence to safety standards. The Finish Carpenter will collaborate with project managers, other trades, and clients to deliver exceptional results that meet specifications and deadlines.
Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to determine project requirements.
Install cabinets, flooring, tile, siding, and other finish carpentry elements with precision.
Perform concrete forming, rebar installation, and masonry work as needed for finishing projects.
Execute painting, caulking, and sealing tasks to enhance the durability and appearance of completed work.
Operate hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and other equipment safely and efficiently.
Assist with framing, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and other related construction tasks when required.
Measure accurately and cut materials to specifications using appropriate tools.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols at all times.
Collaborate with team members to ensure project timelines are met while maintaining high-quality standards.
Qualifications
Proven experience in carpentry, woodworking, or finish carpentry with a strong portfolio of completed projects.
Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings accurately.
Knowledge of concrete forming, masonry, cabinetry installation, flooring installation, tile laying, roofing, siding, and restoration work is preferred.
Strong attention to detail with excellent craftsmanship skills.
Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and work at heights when necessary.
Good communication skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
