Security Building Supplies in Regina has an opportunity that seeks an individual to aid in the door manufacturing and assembly division. The ideal candidate is a self-starting individual passionate about getting the job done right while ensuring precise and accurate millwork quality products. This person will report to the Operations Manager.

Responsibilities

Work with the production team to manufacture, assemble and machine interior door systems Accurately machining and assembling door systems to specification, which includes machining, measuring, and installation of glass and hardware, working from templates and shop drawings Ensuring workspace and production facility are kept clean, safe, and organized Package complete systems with an attention to detail Work in various areas in the manufacturing shop to learn other facets of door production Assist in the machining and milling of components as needed

Qualifications

Previous door manufacturing experience is an asset Advanced finishing carpentry skills Use of hand/air tools (mitre saws, table saws, drills, etc.) Reading English and following work orders Ability to lift excess of 50lbs Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment Safely meet production targets while working with others Ability to lead others A positive attitude and the ability to adapt to change

Pay: $18.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
