This studio is a very collaborative mix of designers and creative talent who are fully committed to the success of every project. Focusing on commercial, hospitality & residential projects, this design studio is known for its adventurous aesthetic, quality craftsmanship and inspired approach to capturing the heart and soul of every project in masterful design detail.

THE ROLE
This Project Manager will report to the Creative Director and will be responsible for working closely with all members of the design team and managing multiple projects, ranging from commercial to residential projects. The successful applicant will ensure that projects are on schedule and are running smoothly, all while making sure client satisfaction is at the forefront.

Duties will include:

• Manage multiple projects at varying phase
• Oversee all design projects as it relates to: Scheduling, Deliverables, Resourcing
• Manage and organize the design team on day-to-day basis
• Ensure projects are running smoothly: deliverables are met, Handle \'Friday Updates\', Maintain client communication, project hours & schedule adherence
• Oversee and manage resourcing - internal budget and project hours
• Report on project progress at our Monday Morning Meetings
• Monitor project schedules and ensure timelines and milestones are accomplished
• Contract Management: Ensure contract scope is adhered to & Prepare WA\'s when additional scope/fee is required
• Oversee construction drawing production: Maintain Quality, Redline drawings, Provide mentorship to design team, where needed
• Oversee contract administration: Review CA drafts, Handle sign-offs
• Participate in Consultant Coordination
• Provide mentorship to Intermediate and Junior Design Team as it pertains to processes, drawing production and CA
• Attend client meetings with the CD and the appointed project Designer
• Participate in proposal writing
• Assess and analyze incoming RFP\'s
• Prepare Work Authorizations

QUALIFICATIONS
The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Degree or Diploma in Interior Design
• Previous experience as a Senior Designer
• Minimum 8 years experience in the interior design industry
• Excellent understanding of construction drawings, specifications and mill work packages
• Excellent understanding of BC building code
• Ability to prioritize and work under pressure
• Self-starter and takes initiative
• Familiarity with Hospitality, Retail, and Residential design
• Be extremely organized, and show a history of managing multiple projects
• Must be an analytical thinker
• Must be process-driven
• Must be proficient in AutoCAD
• Be able to work in a fast-paced environment, both independently and as a team
• Excellent communication skills
