We have an opening for an Integration Specialist, who will be responsible for designing, implementing integration services to deliver the future Integration Services of goeasy.
goeasy is architecting and building a ground breaking platform as a service, to deliver a frictionless lending platform to cater for all types of loans, virtual and partners.
What will you be doing?

  • Build and evolve a best-in-class service platform by bringing together key components to deliver a high-performing Integration Service.
  • Assess integration architecture and data layers to identify opportunities for continuous improvement across services.
  • Lead the analysis of data entities, relationships, and attributes to design efficient and scalable integrations.
  • Oversee a streamlined load process, including exception handling, support notifications, and operational visibility.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure adherence to standards for code quality, design, documentation, testing, and deployment.
  • Provide technical support for integration-related issues and solutions.
  • Analyze customer requirements to determine optimal integration approaches.
  • Manage deployment and repair loads for customer-facing systems.
  • Deliver Level 2 and Level 3 technical support for business applications, including after-hours on-call responsibilities.
  • Conduct design and code reviews with developers to ensure quality and alignment with architectural standards.
  • Review and support test protocols for QA and User Acceptance Testing.
  • Apply expert knowledge of enterprise integration platforms such as MuleSoft, Kafka, API Connect, or similar technologies.
What experience do you have?
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
  • Strong understanding of APIs and integration patterns, including REST, SOAP, event-driven architecture, messaging, and microservices
  • Hands-on proficiency with MuleSoft Anypoint Platform (Studio, Manager, Runtime, Exchange)
  • Solid background in Java-based programming frameworks and technologies such as XML, JSON, SOAP, RESTful services, SQL, and NoSQL
  • Experience with data transformation using MuleSoft DataWeave
  • Familiarity with connectors like Salesforce, Azure, and JMS
  • Strong knowledge of Azure DevOps pipelines, CI/CD practices, and code packaging tools (e.g., Git, Maven)
  • Good understanding of error handling, logging, and security best practices in integration environments
  • A mindset focused on optimization, clean code, and reusable components
  • Prior experience with system integration and API-led connectivity
  • Experience building reusable APIs and integration components
  • Exposure to Salesforce integration is considered an asset
  • MuleSoft Certified Developer - Level 1 certification is a plus
