Roles and Responsibilities



As an Integrated Security Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of physical security systems. You will work closely with our clients to ensure their security needs are met efficiently and effectively.

Installation and Maintenance:

Install, configure, and maintain a variety of physical security systems, including access control systems, surveillance cameras, alarm systems, and intercoms.

Troubleshooting:

Identify and resolve technical issues in security systems, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

Client Interaction:

Build and maintain positive client relationships, providing clear and professional communication regarding system functionality, upgrades, and maintenance.

Quality Control:

Conduct routine quality checks on security installations and maintenance to ensure all systems meet industry standards and client requirements.

Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all service and maintenance activities, including service reports, equipment inventory, and system configurations.

Training:

Provide training and guidance to clients and end-users on the proper operation and maintenance of security systems.

Security Assessment:

Collaborate with the security team to assess clients' security needs, identify vulnerabilities, and recommend appropriate security solutions.

Emergency Response:

Be available for on-call duty and respond promptly to security system emergencies or alarms outside of regular working hours.

Skill Set



Ability to read and interpret, manuals, schematics, wiring diagrams, and blueprints or other related documents. Technical education or certification in electronic security systems is a plus. Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of physical security systems. Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting security hardware and software. Familiarity with relevant industry regulations and standards. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Excellent listening, verbal, and written communication skills Knowledge of MS Office - Word, Excel, Outlook Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Possess the willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies. Self-motivated, positive, and professional attitude.

Required Experience



3 - 5 Years Commercial installation or service experience, in a relevant industry Working knowledge of building systems and construction methods.

Additional Requirements



Possess a valid class 5 operator's license. Ability to work at heights, off a ladder and in confined spaces. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and move up to 75 lbs as required. Travel and some out-of-town work will be required. Opportunities for long term out of town work Ability to work varying shifts as required.

Certifications (current) that are a benefit to this position:



Highschool Diploma CSTS2020 First Aid Fall Protection and Elevated Work Platform (scissor and boom)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 44 per week
