Job Requirement:

Our client is a leading personal injury law firm that represents people in complex personal injury, medical malpractice, class actions, civil and sexual assault, and insurance cases.

We currently have a full-time position available for a talented Intermediate Legal Administrative Assistant to join our Surrey team.

You will be responsible for:

\xc2\xb7Interacting with clients by phone and in person

\xc2\xb7Scheduling medical assessments, discoveries and trials

\xc2\xb7Preparing and drafting various correspondence and documents including court pleadings

\xc2\xb7Manage all Part 7 benefits

\xc2\xb7Manage and maintain a bring-forward system

\xc2\xb7Preparing binders when needed

\xc2\xb7Opening files

\xc2\xb7Other related duties as required

You will bring the following background and skills:

\xc2\xb7Minimum of two years related experience

\xc2\xb7Legal Administrative Assistant certification from an accredited post-secondary institution

\xc2\xb7Working knowledge of court rules and procedures

\xc2\xb7Strong interpersonal, organizational and communication skills

\xc2\xb7Excellent attention to detail

\xc2\xb7Ability to work independently and as part of a team

\xc2\xb7Proficient with Microsoft Office 365

\xc2\xb7Working knowledge of PCLaw, Primafact and Tracument is an asset
